Not as many answers as I'd hoped, but lots of new questions. I loved this one though - Harry was more mature, and a lot happier throughout than OotP. When is book 7 due out? :D

Yup. Wow is a good word to describe it. I really enjoyed the book and thought it got really interesting about halfway through. So many great directions for the next book to go in. I appreciated having some answers, but of course did not expect to get full resolution as there still has to be a major book to fill us in on the rest.

This is without a doubt the best of them all for me. I loved every minute of it, everything was how the all the books should have been with the exception you all know what. Still even then, it sinking in and like wow its just the best out of them all, blown me away totally.

Have to agree - the whole book was just amazing - I think I found a winner over GoF!
The book seemed to skirt anything that was important to Septology - Lily, James, Longbottoms etc - so by steering clear of that JKR was able to unearth a lot more things - almost like she divulged so much other to keep us from asking about the bigger questions!
There was so, so many answers in this book - and yet so many more questions - but not as many as I have had from other books - it's like JKR was using this to clear up all the small, oustanding things she had littered through her books up to date - leaving the big, cenral core intact and ready for delivery in book 7.
You can help but feel your Potter head swimming with all these answers - like each page was providing more and more anwers to things we have spent so long asking.
The book itself - I am still in semi shock - a lot of it I will come out and say I had speculated correctly so feeling a little smug - but still got a few things wrong - but the feeling you get when you read a book and think 'I guessed that' was really a great feeling and what a reward for spending so much time reading into them in detail!

did this book's format remind anyone else of Two Towers--the growing shadow of evil, the ever increasing electric tension of the approaching battle, not to mention the cliffhanger ending.

i agree with you amyleigh, i can't believe the shock of reading HBP

yea, i must say that ending was not unexpected, but still shocking to realize it actually happened. however, its just going to make things more interesting.
this is definitely the best book of all of them...so many things happened and yes, a lot of little questions were answered.
wow, pretty much sums it up.

Yeah, I was in shock after reading it, just sitting there and staring at the last page. I only moved when Nimue called me to see if I had finished yet, as she needed me to bring my book to her house so she could read it. If it hadn't been for that, I probably would have had to go back and start reading it again straight away.
