Hi All
As you will be aware - we have a set of forums for Public Joinable access after Mature Graduation.
These forums are used to make predicition on events.
What follows is the thread starters and also the votes for certain aspects that the members of Divination thought likely in Half Blood Prince ....
Prediction: Dumbledore to die by end of book 6
I it my belief and prediction that Dumbledore will die in during book 6 - The Half Blood Prince.
I think it will happen at the end of the book - and will be the cliff-hanger.
Evidence or Support
I cannot offer any firm details why I believe this.
I feel that he has to die in order to drive Harry forward with the correct motivations in order to complete a grim task that appears as if either Harry or Voldemort must die.
It is my belief that Voldemort will kill him.

Prediction: Ron and Hermione to be together by end of book 6
It is my belief and prediction that Ron and Hermione will be dating by the end of book 6 - The Half-Blood Prince.
I think that Ron and Hermione will both turn to each other for comfort during a difficult part of the next book.

I believe their constant bickering during OotP was almost like that of an old, married couple.
Ron was very interested in Hermione's relationship with Krum, especially at the Yule Ball. I do not think he would be so interested if he did not have any feelings for her.
JKR stated that Cuaron put hints in PoA as to what would happen in the future; I believe that Hermione's grabbing Ron's arm during the Buckbeak scene was one of these. Also, when Buckbeak is about to be beheaded and they hear the swish of the axe, Hermione turns to Ron's shoulder for comfort.
Finally, I think that although they seem to have somewhat of a love/hate relationship, but that they will soon both realize that they have feelings for each other.

We have now all seen the proposed covers for HBP. On the British covers we see Dumbledore and Harry surrounded by fire - where is this coming from?
I voted for flames from Voldemort - whether this is from his wand, or from something he has created I couldn't guess, but definitely from Voldemort! I think we are building up to a much bigger battle and, I guess, higher rate of deaths, but that we will certainly get some form of conflict with the Dark Lord in HBP.

Since you guys brought up the Ron and Hermoine relationship, I wanted to ask you're opinion about Harry and Ginny ending up together in book 6. I think after all her shyness being gone in Ootp, I really saw the similarities between her and Harry. They are both stubborn and brave. I have my fingers crossed ;)

Now that Angelina is gone, will Harry finally be the quidditch captain? There's still Katie Bell, Ginny, Ron and two other hopeless players whose name I forgot. :o
The only real option is Katie and Ron but I still think Harry has a better chance at being captain since he's been on longer than Ron but what about Katie; will she get it over Harry? I have a feeling Harry will get it. What do you guys think?? :)
