One small background theme we have seen in most all of the books, but somewhat seperately is the rift between wizards and other magical sentient beings, Giants, House Elves, Centaurs, Warewolves, even the rift between "pure bloods" and "half bloods", and "muggle-borns" Then I thought of the old standby . . . "United We Stand - Divided We Fall" and isn't this precisely the idea the Wizarding world needs to embrace to defeat Voldemort. Some of these other magical beings are highly underestimated by the DE's. The DE's have made some allies with Giants and warewolves, but they still do not treat them as equals, and that will backfire on them. The wizarding world needs to unite to stand strong.

Now. . . who do you think can bring them all together. . . who do we know that is close to a House-elf? Who do we know who is close to a Centaur? Who do we know who is close to a warewolfe? Who do we know who has talked with, and made an aquaintance of a Giant? The answer to all of these is Harry! I think in Book 7 we will see that Harry's understanding of all these beings will be crucial in bringing everyone together against Voldemort.

Great pick up! I certainly missed that one! Harry has also met a vampire, but I don't think that is really important...
It would be a tough job for Harry to bring them all together and find the Horcruxes. It might just be that he asks each one that he knows to speak on his behalf. it will be very hard even for them though, as none of them actually like humans to talk to...yet

Well observed!
Take that another step thou - Harry will be busy with Horcruxes ... but we do have:

Dobby - House Elfs
Grawp - Giants
Firenze - Centaurs
Lupin - Warewolfs

If you look at it that way - they are all linked to Harry - but are better placed to try and 'unite' the troops behind the Order and indeed the good side ...
I think they are all aware that if Voldemort takes over the Wizarding race - the other factions that build up the world will be next

The DE have made it extremely difficult for Harry and the Order, if they are indeed going to try and unite all beings. Most other creatures have a strong distrust of wizards, good or bad, and are probably unlikely to listen to the boy who lived, seeing as he didn't rid the world of Voldemort after all!
it will take something huge to gain their trust, don't you think?
How will Harry get the message through to them that they have to be united? Of course, he will most likely use his friends as messengers, but what message will he give them to pass on?

i think harry will pass this task onto someone else most likely hermione. it's just a step up from what she was doing with spew. all she would have to do is finish what dumbleore was satating in GOF and finshed in order. but i think everyone is forgetting the goblins who work at gringotts who's going to enlist there help. afterall they have lost there freedoms too.

Interesting - you feel that the Goblins are serve to the Wizarding world?
I got the impression and uneasy tension surrounded them and it was more equality - the goblin revolution or something was mentioned once ...

Hermione would make a great diplomat and I think you are right - she seems to have established herself in that role during the books as well!

i feel that the wizarding world looks down on the goblins, and that can be used to voldys advantage. it is said that goblins can be fierce when they want to be. voldy would do well to be them on his side.
