The "Do not disturb" sign is gone, but the door is still closed, for me anyway. Peeves doesn't even come with the sign gone and I sat there for about a half hour.

Okay - There is a rock behind the plant on the table. (That is if you've done the potion thing Alz mentioned in the other thread) Drag the rock to the mirror and the mirror will break. Click on the little plaque and read it, then close it and type the word 'reparo'. The glass in the mirror will be fixed and then you click on the image of the open door in the mirror. The door in the mirror will close and the big door will open. Move the gold needle on the black thing to point straight up and you have 25 minutes to take Wombats test.

yeah, I posted the solution in another thread, so that people just looking at this one won't accidentally stumble across it, in case they haven't reached the doorway yet. I used it as a sort of "spoiler protection" tool. Don't know if it was the right thing to do though ... :o

I went in and took the test - it was quite fun actually and after you finish the test you get a student ID #. I haven't gone to check my grade yet though.

OK - this one was a really tough one and I was resolved to try doing it myself without hints - I had to cheat to find the first step about the rock, after that I persevered and finally got in after an hour :o
Test wise - darn was it me or was it shockingly hard!
I have no idea how I have done but please promise me if I fail and dont get the reward someone will share with me :o

I'm so glad you said how hard the test was, Alz. I thought perhaps it was just me. I was having some self-esteem issues as a part of this. I hope she'll release the answers to those who get their results, too. I would be curious to see what they are.

You drag the words around and rearrange them into a sentence, which gives you a clue to getting another bonus item.

Did you get a Student ID number? That's how you get your score, but I think you have to wait (oh, the cruelty of it all) for a couple of days to get it.

of course, it is harder to do with the kids wanting my attention!

Ditto-the test was absolutely difficult! Some of those were-what the heck moments:D I'm pretty sure she was having fun w/us-and you were just supposed to use intuition for an answer. I have a feeling I won't get a very high mark though. The ID was so long-I was thinking it was some sort of code lol! That would probably qualify as over-analizing...:D

I was being all geeky and did try to make sure the student ID wasnt hexidecimal code or something similar - because the thought did occur to me as well :o
I notice it takes the webmin to admit he struggled with the test to get the other confessionals going - I was thinking it was just me and my knowledge of the books was getting shocking! :rolleyes:

I was finally able to get into that hyperlink, the door page, and again the Do not disturbe sign is on the door. For those of you that got it....What did it say????

OK - so here is the deal - the door is closed so that means no-one else can take the test.
This also means that the way we took to get the test isnt going to be the way we go to get the results!
This means we might have more riddles to figure come the day of the results - or it may just be another links somewhere - me thinks JKR will make us work for the results!

As such at this moment in time - there is no results and no way to take the test - so we are all keeping our little eye's peeled and once we have the opportunity to see the results - I am sure those of us that failed will be clued in by the more brainer members .... either that or I will close the site till someone email's what it was all about :D :D
Keep checking in there folks and make sure to yell once we know the results are up!

OK - so the WOMBAT results are very close!
If you go to JKR's site now, on the keyboard is a WOMBAT envelope.
If you click on it - it will open a new window with and ask you for student ID - type it in and then you have 2 shelves and a clock - clock has 'Papers being marked' where the hand currently is sat - you also have 'results in the post' and results delivered.

Guessing we are all playing the waiting game still but have progress!
Waiting to see if anything happens while sitting there - will keep you updated!

Basically - you can't sit your WOMBAT test now - since the door was closed and the sign put back up - there is no way to do it, sorry :(
There was a test paper right at the end of the min tasks to get into the room - many of us have done the test and now are awaiting our results ...
I should imagine once we have our results - we will get some goodies from JKR, maybe even some book 7 info - but right now - we are all waiting for our results :(

Status changed. I just checked it and it said "Results in the post". But, I didn't get my results so there's one of two theories - I missed something big, or they just haven't come in. In any eventuality, the hand of the clock is now pointing downwards, representing a change from yesterday and telling us, with the certainty of tides, that we draw ever closer to finding out the info we've been burning to take a look at for so long now ....
All we can now do is wait, and hope that whatever JKR's got in store for us is good.

I checked all day and it has been pointing down towards 'results in post' all day - geez are they using muggle post services or something!
Guess in the next 24/48 hours we should all get the results and maybe an extra suprise for the ones that passed ... urgh who knows - been nearly a week since the door opened the first time for the test!

WOMBAT results are up!!! I'm on my way to check mine now, but I'll keep whatever I see a secret. Unless it's big, in which case I'm posting a new thread on it. Gosh, I haven't seen them yet and this is sooo exciting!!!
HAHA, I got an Exceeds Expectations!!! I wonder if anyone got an Outstanding, or maybe lower. It just said they hope I'll try their next exam at a later time. Wow, how disappointing.
