How do I get an Avatar?
An Avatar is a picture you can see in your postbit (Left hand side of all posts). In order to get an avatar, you would have to post at least once. Please use the link at the top of the page for 'usercp' and then edit Avatar. You will be presented with a list of current avatars available for your use.

How do I pick my House?
You may pick your house yourself. To do so, click on User C/P at the top of the page on the main Portal bar. Click on the 'Edit Profile' section of 'Settings & Options' (in the left hand column) and scroll down to the House selection field at the bottom. Select your preferred House and click on 'Save Changes' to save it.

How do I join a Usergroup?
You can join Usergroups after you have qualified and become a TFH Graduate. If you try joining before - you will not see the forums regardless if you are accepted or not - in order to join a usergroup you have to be a TFH Graduate. In order to access the Join Usergroups page - you need to go to UserCP - a link is provided at the top right hand side of any page. Look for 'Miscellaneous' and second option down is 'Group Memberships' - click this link. You will be presented with a list of joinable groups - please select which group you would like to join and click. You will be asked to provide a reason for this - please state why you would like to join this group. Your request will be sent to staff who will accept or decline your invitation. If you are accepted - you will see the new forums at the bottom of the forums homepage. If you are declined - a member of staff will PM you to inform you why.

How do I leave a Usergroup?
You need to go to UserCP - a link is provided at the top right hand side of any page. Look for 'Miscellaneous' and second option down is 'Group Memberships' - click this link. You will be presented with a list of usegroups that you have subscribed to or are still available. Find the group that you wish to leave and use the leave group link. Please note the staff will not tolerate people flipping between groups - you are permitted to leave only once and may be rejected if you try to re-join later on.

How do I post Reputation Points?
Reputation points may be posted by clicking on the icon in the bottom left section of every postbit (the information to the left of every post). Please select whether you approve or disapprove of this post. You may give a reason for doing so in the 'Comments' section below. Click 'Add Reputation' to submit.

How do I view my Reputation?
If you would like to see your Reputation, it is displayed in the 'postbit' - the section to the left when you post. It is represented by a green square. If you would like to see more details about any reputation points you have been given, please use the 'usercp' link at the top of this page. If you currently have no Reputation points awarded, you will not see any notes on Reputation points.

I have subscribed to a thread/forum - where do I find the list of threads or forums to which I am subscribed?
Your list of Newly Subscribed Threads is located under User C/P (User Control Panel), which is the second link on the main portal bar at the top of every page. Under User C/P, there is also a link where you can view all the threads you have ever subscribed to.

The site's time is "wrong" - how do I change it to my correct time zone?
All site times are automatically set to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). You can adjust this in the User Control Panel ('User C/P', which is the second link on the main portal bar at the top of every page). Click on the 'Edit Options' section of 'Settings & Options' (in the left hand column) and scroll down to 'Date & Time Options'. There, you can change your time zone to the correct one; Daylight Savings Time (DST) adjustments can also be made here.
