1. Check for existing topics
I have seen a few recent New Threads that are already under discussion elsewhere.
Please take a little time when you join to look around and see what is where - I know there is a lot of threads and posts but it is time consuming for me to keep merging posts and threads!
Don't be surprised if your spanking new thread is crap canned if you keep breaking this rule!

2. Length of posts
TFH was built with discussion in mind - as such we expect expansion on idea's in threads - one sentence replies very often don't aid discussion and can often kill it - please read the thread, think about what you want to say and then add in a post that is worthy of the people contributing before you.

3. Text Talk
Please don't use Text Talk in the posts - not everyone understands it and it can be quite annoying - while I don't expect your spelling to be perfect (like I can talk!) - I expect it to be comprehensible!
This is a site rule - so please adhere to it!

4. Off Topic or spam posting
This isn't tolerated at The Final Horcrux. Any posts that seem lazy, non contributing or just a couple of words will be deleted with no apology.

Please all - we pride ourselves on well thought out discussions and debates - I will not let standards slip because I like to enjoy my board and not have to wade through off topic, short meaningless or spam threads!

Be warned - you will either fail graduation or have graduation revoked if you cause me to have to spend my limited time clearing up poor contributions!

Please, let's keep the place exciting and worthy of our many visitors readings!

Sadly - I feel I need to repost this as a remind to the community - I am finding more and more 'spammy' posts in the threads and tire of trying to communicate to people to clean up their act so to speak - afterall I am also someone who likes to post and read and dont want to wade through rivers of crap to get to the real reason I started this board ...

So - in an effort to finally drive the message home - I will start to place temporary bans on anyone who create posts or threads that are blatent duplicates of exisiting topics, posts/threads that are just crap, not thought out or just spam ..

I'm sorry for taking this tact but TFH is special in so much as it has a high degree of intelligent discussion that makes it so popular with visitors and members alike - we want to keep it this way!

One last comment to any new members or recently signed up members - the site rules states that you must be 16 or older - since I have been travelling recently I have noticed more and more accounts being created by people under this age ... since I upgraded the forums I have lost the immediate warning about age restrictions but I will feature them back in to stop or at least make you aware at time of signing up that we operate a 16 or older forum here ...

I will be reviewing the recent registrations and will remove any accounts where the posters are under age - there will be no email sent to explain because it is quite clear - we operate a 16 years or older forum ... there are plenty of other forums for younger people and I can give you a list of some good ones if you wish - please email me.
One last part on this - I can track if you try and re-register and use a different birthdate - so please dont try as it will lead to you being deleted again ...
