Thumbs down Dumbledore's Dark Secret

Prediction: Dumbledore will have a dark secret
I it my belief and prediction that Dumbledore will have a stain in his past that will paint him not as pure as everyone thinks he is!

Evidence or Support
Dumbledore's comments while drinking the potion seems to me to be the biggest indicator of this. Also I think this is why he was killed off in Book 6 - because when Harry finds out he is not going to see Dumbledore in the same light.
This is a compromise on Dumbledore is Evil - I think he did something of major value in the past that will show him in a different light to all of us.

Re: Dumbledore's Dark Secret

You are always picking on Dumbledore!

But I voted yes anyway. It's not a bad thing though. I believe he probably has a lot of secrets that will come out in the end, but they are not all necessarily bad.

I'm sure something about Grindewald will pop up again. You can't have something as big as a battle against good and evil make no more of an appearance in a story about good and evil then a paragraph on the back of a Chocolate Frog card.

As for his mumblings while under the potion in the cave, I sort of get a sense that what he was saying there might not have been his words at all. It's possible that the potion made words come to his mouth that were not his own, but possibly regrets of whomever put the potion in the basin to begin with.

Re: Dumbledore's Dark Secret

Yup i believe Dumbledore may not have had an all friendly past. It just that... how does he know so much of how Voldemort's mind works? Like... you know?

We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter's the one,
And Voldy's gone moldy, so now let's have fun!
