Re: Which character are you?
I suppose Lupin would fit me, with a little Hagrid thrown in (not his size though).

Re: Which character are you?
Well, I'm kind of quiet. I like staying up late at night (about 11pm is when I usually go to sleep). I like to get good grades even though I don't always do my homework. I work hard to get towards my goals. I'm kinda clumsy. I am protective of my family and like spending time with them (no matter how annoying my little sister can be). So if you combine Lupin, Harry, Molly, and maybe a little of Tonks, you have me.

Re: Which character are you?
I find myself often trying to find the lesson in everything. I work in a field where i am pretty much the "old guy". I am also a "healer" and often have my work refered to as "magic". As presumptuos as it may sound, I guess I'm most like DD.
I also quite often play devil's advocate in order to help others feel a little empathy when people don't see eye to eye with each other.

Re: Which character are you?
hmmm....
So far we dont have any takers for Hermione, and Ginny at all....
Well since I carry the other gender, those will have to wait too....
I think I have too much of Sirius in me. I jump the gun without thinking twice all the time. I am extremely loyal to friends, and will get in fights for them without any second thought.
I have my own talents, and then I also like to show them off once in a while.
There wasnt a week in my school days when I didnt have to go to principal's office for some kind of mischief, or trouble.
Too many detentions.

Re: Which character are you?
Well, we have a little in common CC . . . I do have some of Sirius characteristics, perhaps why I chose him for my SN and my avatar. I can often develope that "dog like" excitement about things . . . nearly "pulling at the leash" (just check the thread on OotP in 3D!) I also have that tendancy to act on impulse (and regret it later) But now with the kids, my Molly side has taken over and at least temporarily "chained me up"!

Re: Which character are you?
What a great thread.
Well CC, in my youth I have to confess to being a lot like Hermione - studious, always with my nose in a book and wild, unruly hair! I hung around with male friends, finding girls far too unpredictable and unlogical - much as I think Hermione views Parvati and Lavender! I've still got a penchant for logical problems, got a buzz out of solving the potion puzzle set by Snape in PS/SS and probably why I love the books so much as I know the answers are all in there, it's just a case of deciphering the books.
Then things changed, I married a Potter! Not that that turned me into Lily, although I feel sure I'd do whatever was necessary to protect a child of mine.
No, like many others here, I think I have to identify with Molly. Currently pregnant with our 5th child so I'm a great advocate of the large family, but please don't give me a Percy! I'm fiercely protective of my brood, but not adverse to bawling them out if they cross the line. Like Molly, I can make a little go a long way and maintain wealth is not a neccessity to happiness - just as well!

Re: Which character are you?
WoW Luna! you sound quite a bit like me, I hadn't thought much about who I was like in school, but a cross between Hermionie and Luna would probably have fit. I too hung out with male friends . . . same thing, I just didn't get the way girls acted, all worried about their hair, makeup, and gossip. I still have better male friends than female. I wasn't bookish, but probably would have been if I had had parents who encouraged books. I certainly can't get enough of books now! I generaly have two or three going at once! (one on audio while I work out or do chores, one hardback I read in "spare" time, and one I am reading to the kids {usualy Potter}

Re: Which character are you?
I have some Luna in me too hence my choice of name. Still a bit of a dreamer and can quite believe in the impossible - I'm just waiting for my son to receive his letter from Hogwarts when he turns 11 at the end of July!
Amazing how many of us have large families on this site and identify with Molly. I only hope it turns out to be a happy ending for the Weasleys but I'm still haunted by her Boggart experience in OOTP and hope it's not a precursor of what is to come.....

Re: Which character are you?
well im female, at school i was very hard working, scared of getting asked a question and not knowing the answer, spent my time out of school reading fiction books starting witht the famous five in primary.

now im a bit more laid back, im am still quite bright with the work side in college, i can also say the dappyiest things which give people a good laugh at my thickness- so the only difference from luna there is after iv said it i realise and have the sense to go red.
