It's all in the name

Hi All,

Well - you are now on The Final Horcrux!
What was Mature Potter is now The Final Horcrux, so I wondered what you thought of the new name ..

Guess that will be another poll!

I like the new name. I gives people a kind of preview as to what they're going to see when they come onto the website. Mature Potter didn't really give any hints. I just gave an age limit.

I think it's a great name - To me it just seems more inviting and welcoming than MaturePotter ever did.

Yeah, I was always a little unsure of the name Mature Potter.
While it summed up quite nicely the aim - it seemed dubious almost!

I guess TFH just seemed to make so much sense in all aspects - I am glad you are all liking it

I like the new name, but I also liked Mature Potter, because it was different to all the others and instantly told people that it was a site not aimed at children...on the other hand, some people thought it was a site for discussing Harry and his old peoples home...

LOL - yah I can see what you mean!
I think the reason I came up with the name in the first place was because I was trying to express that from that point on - it was all about the discussions.
I wanted some strong, hard debating on the Potter series and as such expressing the site in the title I did was all about that. Mind you - took me three attempts to get the right name - wonder if anyone can work out the other 2 domain names I registered at the same time and have never been disclosed?

I think there is still Merit in Mature Potter and I was very tempted to have it added onto the Banner with The Final Horcrux ... but I figured it really might confuse!
